3. Eligibility and Registration

3.1 Age Requirements

Our services are available to students of all ages. However:

  • Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent to use our services
  • Parents or legal guardians are responsible for monitoring minors' use of our services
  • Account registration for minors must be completed by a parent or guardian

3.2 Account Registration

To access certain services, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized account use

4.1 Fees and Pricing

Service fees vary based on program type, session length, and format. Pricing will be clearly communicated before enrollment. We reserve the right to modify pricing with advance notice to enrolled students.

4.2 Payment Methods

We accept payment via:

  • Electronic transfers (e-transfer)
  • Cheques (subject to approval)
  • Cash (for in-person transactions)

4.3 Payment Schedule

Payment is typically required:

  • Before the start of programs (for course enrollment)
  • In advance for tutoring packages
  • Monthly for ongoing services (where applicable)

4.4 Late Payments

Late payments may result in:

  • Suspension of services until payment is received
  • Late fees as specified in your enrollment agreement
  • Termination of services for continued non-payment

4.5 Refund Policy

Refund eligibility depends on the specific circumstances:

  • Before Services Begin: Full refund minus administrative fee
  • After Services Begin: Prorated refund for unused sessions, subject to terms in your enrollment agreement
  • No-Shows: Generally non-refundable unless due to documented emergency
  • Cancellations: Must be submitted in writing with appropriate notice

Refund requests will be processed within 30 days of approval.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

5.1 Student Cancellations

  • 24+ Hours Notice: Session may be rescheduled at no charge
  • Less than 24 Hours Notice: May incur cancellation fee or session forfeiture
  • No-Show: Full session fee charged
  • Emergency Situations: Handled on case-by-case basis with documentation

5.2 Company Cancellations

We may cancel sessions due to instructor illness, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases:

  • You will receive advance notice when possible
  • Sessions will be rescheduled at no additional charge
  • Credits may be applied to your account

6. Student Conduct and Responsibilities

6.1 Expected Conduct

Students are expected to:

  • Treat instructors, staff, and other students with respect
  • Arrive on time for scheduled sessions
  • Come prepared with necessary materials
  • Actively participate in learning activities
  • Complete assigned homework and practice
  • Follow facility rules and safety guidelines
  • Use online platforms responsibly and appropriately

6.2 Prohibited Conduct

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

  • Harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind
  • Violent, threatening, or disruptive behavior
  • Academic dishonesty or plagiarism
  • Unauthorized recording or sharing of sessions
  • Sharing account credentials with unauthorized users
  • Violating copyright or intellectual property rights
  • Using services for unlawful purposes

6.3 Consequences of Misconduct

Violations may result in:

  • Warnings and behavioral contracts
  • Temporary suspension from services
  • Permanent termination without refund
  • Legal action in severe cases

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content

All content on our website and in our programs, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, software, and educational materials, is owned by or licensed to Maple Leaf Education Center and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our materials solely for personal educational purposes. You may not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display our content
  • Modify, create derivative works, or reverse engineer our materials

7.3 Student Work

9.2 Service Availability

We aim to provide uninterrupted services but cannot guarantee continuous availability. Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

9.3 Third-Party Content

9.4 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maple Leaf Education Center and its directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:
